The room is kind of off to one side of the casino entrance and a little isolated, but is one of my favorite places to play. Nothing too fancy but the people running it make it a great place to play.
We were there over Halloween weekend so I can't say that this is a fair comparison of 'normal' players. There were a lot of college age players and a few regulars so there was a good mix if you were patient enough. Played the 2-4 limit game and had a great time.
Again, there was a mixture of dealers. Patrick was great! He kept the game rolling when the people without a clue what they were doing were playing. Some of the dealers were very talkative some did not say a word. Ronald was a character from Philly but was a lot of fun to play with.
Nice ladies, good drinks and good timing. I never had to wait for a drink.
Sheldon and Carolyn ran a great room. Gave the room a real comfortable vibe. It was pretty relaxed but they were very ontop of any trouble .. saw two different people asked to leave. They seemed very interested in our return business.
If we had been staying at the Luxor the comps would have been better since the poker room rate is the best comp. However, we tracked our time and received discounts at the buffet (and got the discount plus dinner buffet at lunch price due to timing) and a couple of Luxor Poker Room hats. Quads also payed $20 every time you hit them so that was nice too.
