A big room, which really is divided intotwo parts, one part for cash and one for tourneys when one is taking place. A bit busy and noisey, as it is right in the heart of the Hotel and casino and next to 'Centrifuge' a busy and music playing bar, but comfortable and spacious.
The 11am game is really good, ($65) with upto 60 players seated initially, but accept late or re entries when players go out in the first 80 minutes. This made 76 and 83 players in the two tourneys i played in, meaning a nice 1st prize of approx $1,300 for the winner. The blinds get fast and furious after, 9 minutes or so, so unless you've built up a stack, have only 1 bet "ALL IN" but players are friendly and of varied abilties and an enjoyable morning tourney.
No problems, no mistakes.
An area to work on here for the MGM, when in the tourneys, didn't get a drink for the first hour or two, or see a waitress. It seemed they came round when the numbers went down to around 30, from the 60/70 + that were usually playing
Very good, were very friendly on our arrival and thereafter, when my friends also played cash games. Welcmed me back after only playing once before, so recognised me, then said bad luck and consoled me when i had a bad beat to knock me out.
Only played in two tourneys, so didn't ask or expect any comps, so can't comment otherwise.
