The room was nice. They actually have two rooms, one for no-limit and the other for limit games. A few people have mentioned that it was really smokey, but I didn't notice it being too bad compared to any other smoking rooms, or the main casino for that matter.
I sat at a 4-8 table for about 2 hours. There were three older guys, probably locals, that played solid. The rest were loose and would stay in on any pair or even just an ace to the river. Example hand: Kill pot so make it 6-12. I limp with 6,6 and we have SEVEN callers. I flop a 6 and someone bets into me, I raise and get 4 callers. No flush or straight draws. More action after turn starts making me nervous so I just call and get raised so I call again. River ends up with 1 better and 2 callers. Bettor had 2 pair, I had trips, original raiser was on high pair. I take down $250 pot.
Dealers were very friendly. Some mistakes were made, but they were followed by a lot of appologizing and the players were all happy.
Quick and cute.
Not the friendliest bunch of managers, but they were available when needed.
No idea on comps since I wasn't planning on playing long. They did have plenty of jackpots available though.
