This was the first time I had played in a live game. I had no issues with the room, everything was clean and spacious. When the 10am tourny started there was only one 2/4 table going. This was the friday after Thanksgiving and there were about 65 people playing and it didnt feel crowded at all. Also the chairs have wheels which adds to the comfort.
This was my first time playing live so I was deffinitly intimidated by some of the players. There were alot of locals who knew eachother and the dealers. I played very tight and finished third ($317). The blinds moved fast relative to the chips so players were somewhat loose.
The dealers were very friendly with the regulars and tended to ignore the people they did not know. At one point I said I wanted to raise and didnt put enough into the pot (I won a huge pot eventually with pocket K's). After the hand was over the dealer criticised my play and joked with other players about what he considered a poor play. Other than that the automatic shuffelers kept the game moving and there were no major problems.
I did not get anything to drink but there was one waitress working the room. She was not great looking, but then again it is a local casino.
After I was knocked out I had to wait for the manager to finish his conversation with a friend before I was paid. Table moves were easy and there was no confusion when starting.
Didn't ask.
