Room set up, next to the sports book, is fine. Not a lot of noise from the casino although it is an open room seperated by a half wall and columns. Atmosphere is very condusive for an enjoyable time, not stuffy at all. Rake is a bit high, but the high hand jackpots seem to offset that larger amounts.
Average players for the most part, a few locals that are rocks, and a few above average players. Most however are average level players that play thier cards more often than they play the other players.
All the dealers that I came across were very conversational and dealt a very good game at the same time. One dealer in particular, Rueben, has been dealing for over 27 years and has great stories about the old time pros.
Drinks came in a timely manner. No knockouts here, but won't screw up your order. One waitress was a bit surly. Funny thing was that the best looking of the waitresses worked graveyard shift.
Room was managed very well. During tournaments with cash games going at the same time they kept their heads. Only saw two rulings that both were handled professionally. Management will talk to you and explain the high hand jackpots. A quick shout out to Jim up front who went out of his way in my opinion to help new players and new players to the room
