Good room. Not on par with some of the newer rooms, but great for low limits. The room has a very friendly feel to it. With all the wood and the paintings, it almost feels like someone's basement.
There are a good mix a rocks, wannabes, and tourists out to have some fun. The Monte Carlo has a friendlier atmosphere than some rooms that I have played in. Pick your spots and get your money in with the best of it and you should turn a profit.
All of the dealers were competent. I didn't see any errors in 10 or so hours that I played. They all had some personality, which is always a plus.
I only drink water or an occasional beer, so I don't order drinks every time that they come around. They weren't anything special, and I don't order anything to complex. They did their job, but didn't really leave an impression on me.
They did their job well. I didn't like how they really tried to push certain games. If I really wanted to play 1-2 no limit, I would ask. That brings their rating down a notch.
Didn't ask about room rate. They do have high hand jackpots for all straight flushes, 4 of a kind, and each suited royal flush. It allows for some looser calls preflop, flop, turn, and river for some people as they chase their straight flush.
