Small clean room. Well spaced tables with plenty of room. Flat screen TV's on the wall with various sports playing. Chairs looked comfortable, but I brought my own.
My first time at Silverton. I played in the 2k tourney first. About 49 runners. Players were competent ABC types at my table. Structure sped up game and tourney lasts about 4 hours, plus or minus. But everyone at final table gets paid. Busted out 18th then played 1/2 cash. Was fun like a home game...chip up, then down, side bets straddles and blind raises. No a-holes at my table or sore losers.
No mistakes. Got'em in and got'em out, laughed at my jokes and gave me great hands half the time on my straddle. So, very likeable.
Waitresses were real cute in skimpy outfits :) Mixed drinks are all in tall glasses, and premium calls are ok. Were fairly quick and super friendly!
Everything went smooth. I was treated kindly and the staff made me feel welcome. I will go back, likely often.
$2 max rake was my favorite past. But the had aces cracked, high hands and bad beat jackpots. A regular sitting next to me got his Johnny Rockets' comped by Woody the manager, and it was delivered to the table.
